DP Report lets you create comprehensive or customized reports of your processing activities to share with internal and external parties. You can easily choose what to include in your report by selecting filters for different parts of your information. If a Data Controller is selected, the available Subject Data Categories are restricted to those connected to the selected Data Controller etc.

This feature helps you to communicate with your added Data Processors in order for them to confirm that the records you keep on their processing on your behalf is correct. This helps you to keep your account up to date and the Processor can notify you whenever a change is made in their records. Have a look at our feature article here!

Systems refers to an information asset which is used to process personal data in different ways. Such a System could be for example a customer billing system where access, storage and transfer occurs. A Data Storage refers only to physical storage of data for example a server, hard drive or USB-memory.

A User has full read access and can have limited write access in DPOrganizer while a Limited User can have both limited read and write access and cannot show Gaps in their reports. The privileges of Users and Limited Users can be customized on the user creation page, where you can assign specific rights to create, remove, edit information in the entities.

If you have entered information into an entity and go to the Dashboard or another entity without clicking the save button, the input is lost and must be entered again. Please make sure that you press save on each page to minimize the risk of losing information.

Click on the Data Controller entity on the Dashboard and add a new Data Controller by clicking ‘Add new Data Controller’ on the next page. If you have reached your maximum number of Controllers the system will inform you that no more can be added. If you wish to add extra controllers, please contact us at support@nulldporganizer.com

Other Recipients is a party outside the organization with whom personal data is shared but who is not a Data Processor. The Other Recipient is actually Data Controller for the processing they do. You can also choose to create a Category of Other Recipients if you want to share that information to external individuals but without sharing exact details on specific recipients.

This entity helps capture technical and organisational security measures in place to safeguard personal data, such as anti-virus and encryption software, physical security measures and incident control (a routine to detect, handle and report incidents). In short, any digital, physical or organisational measures that limit the risk of exposure of data in your organization.

The Person responsible is the person or department who has to make sure that the information in the entity is correct and up to date, for example, a Data Subject Category or an Asset.

A Contact person, on the other hand, is a person outside of your organization that is processing the data on your behalf, i.e the ‘Data Processor’ or ‘Other Recipient’.
