How can my business use Tags?
1. For external purposes
First of all, Tags can be used to deal with external circumstances.
The feature makes it possible for you to be compliant with several data protection laws.
We developed the feature together with existing customers who needed better support for the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Tags allow you to categorize on different levels of detail, without having to work with multiple data sets.
2. For internal organisation
Tags can also be used for internal purposes.
It is possible to sort and categorise for different needs, departments and business processes.
Categorize personal data and data processors; using the same tag for both personal data types and data processors, or using separate tags for the two. You can also use multiple tags for the same personal data types and data processors.
Another strong functionality is that you can produce reports with tags.
